Hassan Omar, the outspoken Wiper Party leader, has reiterated that Kalonzo must be in the ballot as a presidential candidate, whether he is declared NASA flagbearer or not.
In a statement,Omar said the party has agreed that their man will not play second fiddle to anyone, adding that they are eagerly waiting for a resolution from a task force formed to pick NASA presidential candidate.
“We have just met with the Wiper National Elections Council and we’ve agreed that we’ll have nothing short of a free and fair nomination exercise.
We now how have CCU, Muungano Party, PTP, and NARC in addition to the Emali declaration which will bring together a coalition that will make Wiper and ultimately NASA a stronger coalition.
The president and the Deputy have in the last couple of months been touring different parts of the country on a development agenda. But they didn’t visit some parts of the country. Now you’re seeing leaders defecting and joining us, solely on a development agenda. All Kenyans are entitled to development, No matter which part of they country they’re from.
Wiper is not going for anything short of having Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka as NASA’s flag bearer. We have Nyenze, Sen. Muthama and Farah Maalim negotiating for us.
We reiterate that we’re committed to the coalition, all we’re doing is pitching as a party, to have Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka as NASA’s flag bearer.
We have 29 Days to when NASA must name its flag bearer, so lets wait”,said the Mombasa Senator.
It is now clear that Kalonzo has not reverse gear,he must quit NASA.
