Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula was beaten by his wife, Ann Waceke Ngugi,in February and the Senator hurriedly reported the matter to Langata Police station.
Though the cause of the domestic squabble is not known to many, we have established that Wetangula felt betrayed when he was informed by his close allies that his wife frequents Deputy President William Ruto’s office.
Anne Ngugi, who hails from Nyeri, is ever seen in Ruto’s office, according to our source. Something that has given Wetangula sleepless nights. The source adds that Ann hangs out with Jubilee advisors, who are fed with information about Wetangula’s political plans and CORD strategy at large.
When asked about the issue, Ann became violent thus assaulting Wetangula.
