Jeff Koinange is one of the highest paid journalists in Kenya, his current salary per month is Ksh2 million. The former CNN news anchor joined Royal Media Services after a short stint at The Standard Media Group. Before then, he was working for K24 where he earned Ksh 500,000 per month.
Jeff is currently working for Citizen TV as a news anchor alongside Victoria Rubadili, he is also engaged with Hot 96’s morning show, a station owned by Royal Media Services. His hefty pay is linked to the experience he gained at CNN and the fact that he has a deep voice which draws Kenyan audience.

Jeff takes home up to Ksh 1.5 million every month from Royal Media Services. He also acts as an MC for major events within East Africa, he charges Ksh 300,000 to Ksh2 million per event. In a good month, he will have 7 events. Ideally, he takes home over Ksh 2 million per month.
Though he is one of the highest paid journalists in Kenya, Jeff had a loan with CBA and after failing to pay, his two houses in Kitisuru were almost auctioned. He owns two houses valued at Ksh 200 million.
Another highly valued asset which is under Jeff’s name is the brand new Mercedes Benz worth Ksh20 million.
