  • Richest king in Africa with 16 wives,King Mswati

Richest king in Africa with 16 wives,King Mswati

This is the richest king in Africa. He has 16 wives, 45 children, 13 royal palaces, private jets, millions of luxury cars and watches, and a net worth of over $200 million.Yet 60% of his people live in poverty and don’t have enough food to eat.

This is King M Swati, the third. The king of Eswatini, a tiny country in Southern Africa was called Swaziland. This country doesn’t practice any form of democracy. They are Africa’s absolute monarch, which means the king makes all the decisions in the country.

King M Swati became king at the age of 18 and he lives like a movie star.He wears expensive clothes and watches, rides private jets and custom made Rolls Royce cars.He even bought 15 Rolls Royces for all of his 15 wives.Like he’s got every expressive things you can think of.And every year he hosts a national dance ceremony for single women to come and dance topless for him to choose a new wife.He shops for a new wife every year.

Just last year the 56 year old king got married to the 21 year old daughter of an ex South African president. She became his 16th wife after participating in the topless dance. This man is living the life so many African men would die for, but his people and country are suffering in drowning in debt.People in Swatini struggle to find jobs in clean water, but the king is out here living like a billionaire.Protesting about this is not even an option because you won’t like what would be done to you if you’re still making a protest. But the truth is, it’s OK to live like a king, but leaders should care about their people too because power should come with kindness.

How Moi’s Grandson Collins Kibet is suffering—he cried in court

Collins Kibet Moi, grandson of the late President Daniel Arap Moi, broke down emotionally in a Nakuru court after being sentenced to two weeks in jail for failing to pay child support.

The case was filed by his ex-wife, who claimed Kibet had neglected his duty to provide for their child.

In a dramatic scene, Kibet stood before the magistrate and pleaded for mercy.

“I’m sick. I have tried. I have suffered since my father died. I don’t live anywhere. I have asked for mercy. No one has mercy these days for an orphan,” he sobbed.

“I have even asked the President of this country to help me, but no one can help me.”

Once part of Kenya’s most powerful family, Kibet now says he is homeless, jobless, and battling illness, a far cry from the privilege he was born into.

All Betting sites implement 5% withdrawal tax in Kenya. How the tax will affect gamblers

Betting sites have implemented 5% withdrawal tax in Kenya. This tax will become effective from July 2025.Below is a message we received from betting sites:

Starting from July, all withdrawals will be subject to a 5% tax in accordance with new regulations. The tax amount will be automatically deducted during the withdrawal process.

This means that if you win Ksh10,000,you will be deducted 5% from the winnings. When withdrawing the money,5% which is equivalent to Ksh500 will be deducted. You will receive Ksh9500 in your phone.

If you win Ksh100,000,you will be deducted Ksh5,000, hence receiving Ksh95,000 in your phone. This is clearly alot of money to gamblers, considering that they used stake to bet.

To make decent income, you have to come up with high odds and low stake.

  • Origin of Saba Saba and the names of Kenyans who were involved

Origin of Saba Saba and the names of Kenyans who were involved

Below is the history of Saba Saba and the names of people involved:

Saba Saba Day (7/7), commemorated on July 7, is a significant date in Kenyan history that symbolizes the struggle for multi-party democracy.

Over the decades, the Saba Saba protests have evolved into a powerful tradition of advocating for human rights, good governance, and economic justice.

The Saba Saba protests date back to July 7, 1990, during the late President Daniel Arap Moi’s administration, when the country was under a single-party state.

Eight years earlier, the government under President Moi had amended the Constitution to turn Kenya’s de facto one-party system into a de jure one-party state, officially placing all political power in the hands of the Kenya African National Union (KANU).

At the time, political dissent and press freedom were tightly suppressed, while widespread discontent grew over economic mismanagement and the systematic exclusion of various communities from governance.

On June 6, 1990, opposition leaders called for a public rally at Kamukunji Grounds in Nairobi on July 7, demanding the return of multiparty democracy.

The Saba Saba Protests were led by opposition leaders Kenneth Matiba, Charles Rubia, and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga. Raila Odinga, Gitobu Imanyara, and Gibson Kamau Kuria were also part of the figures behind the Saba Saba protests.

Siaya Governor James Orengo, Koigi wa Wamwere, and the late Wangari Maathai also played instrumental roles in the protests.

Despite the protests being banned by the Moi government, the opposition defied the ban, and thousands of Kenyans took to the streets to demand the return of multiparty democracy.

Opposition leaders were arrested and detained, while police violently dispersed protesters in a brutal crackdown.

On December 2, 1991, President Moi, during the delegates’ conference of KANU, announced the repeal of Section 2A of the Constitution, returning Kenya to a multiparty state after more than 20 years. As a result, some 19 new political parties were registered.

In 1992, Kenya held a Kenya its first multiparty elections where about 8 political parties participated. During the election Moi was re-elected as president under KANU beating Matiba of Ford Asili.

Saba Saba Day has evolved and taken a new meaning over the years. Human rights defenders and civil society organizations in recent years have taken the stage in commemorating the day by calling for an end to police brutality and killings, respect for the constitution, and addressing issues affecting the country.

Most Likely Power-sharing government, but economy takes 5–10 years to recover fully

    Key Lessons from the Scenario

     1. Protests without structure breed chaos.

     2. Governments that ignore suffering will eventually face it — one way or another.

     3. Once currency collapses, it’s not a revolution — it’s survival.

     4. No leader can govern a country where their own military loses faith in them.

     5. Real change needs ballots, brains, and bold but wise strategy.

More bodies found in River Yala

More bodies have been found in River Yala.

The lifeless body of a Yala Town-based businesswoman was found dumped in River Yala, near the Ulumbi bridge.

It is suspected that the woman, who operated an M-PESA shop, was waylaid by criminals last night. Her body remains at the scene.

Just yesterday, a thigh and a hand, belonging to an unidentified person, were discovered in two separate locations: Sagam Marenyo and Kachola, both within Gem Yala Sub-County. Human beings are being hunted and torn apart like animals.

Last month, two schoolgirls on their way to school in the early morning were raped and murdered in Sagam and Nyamninia areas, still within Gem Constituency.

As recently as last month, about four bodies were retrieved from River Yala.

While all this is happening, the local leadership is engaged in petty, self-serving political games. They are not concerned with how to protect the lives of the very people they swore to serve.

200 HIV Positive Kenyans to be deported from Qatar

Reports indicate that over 200 Kenyans will be deported from Qatar this year for testing HIV positive. The report further claims that reports from hospitals indicated alarming cases of HIV among Kenyans in Qatar. Since those Kenyans won’t continue working in the country, they have to return to Kenya.

Most of these Kenyans arrived in Qatar while negative but they started sleeping around with other Kenyans in Qatar, others got infected when they visited Kenya during the long vacation. Others contracted the disease in the streets of Qatar where they were doing prostitution.

The government doesn’t want to incur the costs of treatment. Employers also want to cut insurance costs.

Game On! Spotika Unleashes Africa’s Smartest Betting Platform

One of Kenya’s most high-profile sports betting brands, Spotika, is back in operation and this time with a vengeance, since it now arrives with Southeast Asian firepower.

The company has now formally re-launched anchored by an investment from serial Thai tech founder Mr. L. Arunwanich, with a track record of building high-performance platforms in gaming, fintech, and digital infrastructure across Asia and the Middle East.

This is Spotika’s second arrival , its transformation from home bookmaker to full-fledged, technology-led digital games, crafted specifically for African punters.

A New Machine for African Bettors

Spotika’s rebirth isn’t just new branding, it’s completely a new systems overhaul.

Powered by enterprise-class technology, the fresh website will deliver:

    • Instant payouts- no delay, no hassle
    • AI-driven verification and fraud protection
    • Seamless mobile betting, even at low data speeds
    • Live odds modeling and dynamic in-play markets
    • 99.99% uptime with real-time wallet sync

“We have created a system for the new African sports fan – fast, transparent, and mobile-first,” said George Abbey, the company’s Head of Technology.

    Clean Slate, Fresh Start

Spotika has broken away from its previous operations under new management. The company has cut loose from former ownership, removed all outstanding past brand and contractual obligations, voluntarily ceased influencer and mass advertising and fully aligned with BCLB and KFCB regulations.

“We’re not just compliant — we’re setting the new standard,” said a Spotika executive. “We believe in doing things the right way from the ground up.”

    Smarter, Safer Betting

Spotika’s relaunch also comes with a major push toward responsible gaming including self-exclusion and deposit limits, fully transparent bonus and promotion policies, targeted incentives designed with player protection in mind, just to mention but a few.

All this is in sync with fresh regulatory pressure to sanitize the sports betting landscape in Kenya and curb risky gambling habits particularly among young people.

    Regional Dreams Begin

With its platforms live in Kenya, Spotika is now looking to expand into Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda by the end of 2025. The firm wants to create an East African network of compliant, competitive, and scalable betting sites, all driven by cutting-edge digital infrastructure.

This isn’t a hype play,” the executive said. “It’s a tech-led, long-term approach based on discipline and data not just odds and offers.”

Ready to Play in the Big League

As Kenya’s sports betting industry becomes more regulated and competitive, Spotika is screaming it loud and clear: it’s not going to play small.

With cutting-edge tech, a courageous investor, and a compliance-first strategy, Spotika is targeting a leadership position in the African sports betting industry.
