It is believed that the new train would have super speed, in fact twice as fast as ordinary bus. From Mombasa to Nairobi,a passenger will take not more than 4 hours, and the beauty of travelling on train is that traffic jam will be a thing of the past.

The current train takes between 10 to 17 hours to arrive Mombasa from Nairobi, which is slower than ordinary buses.
