Monica Juma will no longer serve as the secretary to the cabinet after MPs rudely rejected her nomination.Parliament was reduced to a nursery hall when MPs started name calling after those who were for her nomination realized she was going home anyway.Majority leader Eden Duale pleaded with the MPs not to embarrass the president but his words were ignored.
Ubtil her nomination Monicah was the Defense Principal Secretary and according to the National Assembly Committee on Security Monica was found to be arrogant and insensitive thus lacking qualities to head such a sensitive department.
But one of the reasons why MPs rejected her appointment is because she wrote a letter to the Clerk of the National Assembly informing them to stop trooping to her office office seeking appointment and transfers for their people.
Another reason is that she did not give them the envelop that could at least keep them happy that day.
