Iceland qualified for Euro 2016 competition on Sunday after drawing 0-0 with Kazakhstan to stay top of Group A.
The Dutch suffered a humiliating 0-3 home defeat to Turkey. The result pulled European powerhouse to the bottom of their group as Iceland topped the group.
Iceland, the country of 300,000 people, secured a place to France on Saturday when they defeated the Dutch 1-0; the first defeat in centuries.
Netherlands, who are now fighting for position three in their pool, have undergo play offs for them to qualify for the 2016 competition.
