Manchester United Manager Louis Van Gaal has clarified that he is not sure whether his team is good enough to win UEFA Champions League title.
Speaking after returning to Holland for the first time since he became United coach, Van Gaal attested that despite spending over £300m on players, he can’t confirm whether his current team has what it takes to challenge top teams in the Champions League campaign.
Manchester United is set to start their Champions League campaign tonight against PSV Eindhoven in the Philips Stadion, where the manager has promised fans that they will see a Manchester United side that fight for their chances.
The team will be without their star Wayne Rooney, who is out for injury. However, with the presence of their new hero Antony Martial, the team is confident of producing convincing results.
