President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and Tanzanian President Magufuli had a chance to take a joint photo during the swearing ceremony of Magufuli in Tanzania.
Magufuli won the hotly contested election by defeating his closest rival Lowassa Chadema by a simple majority. He was sworn in on Thursday amid disquiet from some of the World leaders who protested against massive rigging.
The 56-year old succeeds the outgoing president Jakaya Kikwete whose second term ended successfully.Kikwete will be remembered for ensuring peaceful transition of leadership and for his perfect legacy.
