Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria was today released on a Sh 5 million bond.

The MP was arrested on November 25 following his remarks in Gatundu where he called on people of his community to slash with machete anyone opposed to NYS projects. He was ordered to appear in court but disobeyed the order.

Kuria was in the cell throughout the period Pope Francis was in the country. He was not even allowed to watch the holy Pope on the TV.

The controversial MP is on record claiming he fixed Ruto at The Hague; he has even offered to testify at the ICC and narrate how witnesses were coached.
