Manchester United were eliminated from Champions League competition after losing 3-2 to Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.
The red devils were the first ones to score through their wonder kid, Anthony Martial; little did they know it would rain.Martial’s goal was neutralized three minutes later by Naldo,who volleyed the ball past united keeper David de Gea. Vieirinha scored the second goal to put the home team ahead minutes before the end of first half.
United were in celebratory mood when Josuha Guilavogui scored own goal but their celebrations were cut short after Naldo scored the winner, forcing United fans to leave the stadium in a hurry.
Manchester United, who are currently 4th in the English Premier League, were eliminated from the Champions League by a ‘small team’. Their focus now shifts to the Premier League where they are hoping Mournho’s miseries could continue as Arsenal continue with a trophies record.
Meanwhile, Arsenal fans are celebrating their rival’s exit as they wait for their team to be either ‘slaughtered’ or proceed to the round of 16.They are currently third in their group and they must win their last match to proceed to the next round.
