Joyce Omondi is now taken! Citizen TV sports journalist Waihiga Mwaura has finally tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Joyce Omondi.
The two married on Friday December 18 at lush Sawela Lodge in Naivasha and the wedding was attended by few invited guests and a host of Citizen TV anchors, who include Willis Raburu, Bernard Ndong, Patrick Igunza and Njugush.
In November, the two journalists surprised Kenyans when they announced their intention to get married: the information caught almost everyone by surprise.
Joyce Omondi was a co-host of Rauka Gospel Music programme on Citizen Television with Njugush before leaving for further studies at the Georgetown University in Washington. Joyce and Waihiga met at the station and their love blossomed.
Joyce is also an artiste; her songs include Uinuliwe,Keli and Nifiche.
