Violence has erupted in Kariobangi after a group of residents noticed that people are being transported from other areas to the region to register as voters.
Apparently one ethnic group found out that another ethnic group was leading in voter registration and that is what has sparked the violence.
Police have camped in the area to stop the violence.
Kariobangi is one of the estates in Nairobi with the highest number of potential voters.Others include Kibera and Embakasi
