Latest opinion polls from Malindi show that ODM candidate for Malindi Parliamentary seat, Baraka Mtengo, will win with a landslide-71 %.
A source from a leading coalition reported that top leadership are aware that their candidate, Philip Charo,will be humiliated but they have decided to soldier on since their party MUST be seen active at the Coast.
The opinion poll, which was secretly conducted by a research firm in Nairobi, confirmed that Charo has decided to inform locals that he regrets vying on a Jubilee ticket. He is always seen begging voters to vote for him as an independent candidate.
Meanwhile, the race for Kericho Senatorial seat is neck to neck, but KANU candidate Paul Sang is leading with a 2 % margin against his closest rival, Aaron Cheruiyot.
