A list of the richest people in Kenya is out and shockingly, Raila Odinga is in the list. According to Forbes, Bhimji Depar Shah & Family is the richest man in Kenya, with an estimated fortune of U.S $ 700 million, followed by Uhuru Kenyatta & Family with an estimated wealth of U.S $ 500 million.
Naushad Merali, who owns Sameer Group and Kencall, is the third richest man in Kenya. He is estimated to be worth a whooping U.S $ 370 million.
Business mogul, Chris Kirubi, is the fourth richest man in Kenya. His net worth amounts to U.S $ 300 million.Kirubi has interests in banking, insurance, media, real estate and transport sectors.
Manu Chandaria, the philanthropist, was also not left behind. With Chandaria industries and investment in banking sector, Manu is ranked fifth among the richest people in Kenya with an estimated fortune of U.S $ 280 million.
