Moses Otieno shocked villagers in Kisumu on Monday morning after declaring in public that he has decided to marry a Tilapia fish.
Otieno, 22, said that he has tried every trick other men use to win girls but his efforts have not borne fruits. In 2014, he got a girlfriend through his cousin but the lady did not stay for long.The cause of his troubles, Otieno explains, is because he stammers a lot, a condition that has made him lose confidence.
Speaking to villagers at Kondele, he explained that marrying a fish will not only give him pleasure he wants, but he can also eat it when he wants and go fishing again.
Otieno has now invited Kondele residents to his wedding next Saturday at a venue to be communicated later.
