The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) has suspended weekly demonstrations against IEBC.

Siaya Senator James Orengo told the nation in a press briefing that the coalition has agreed to dialogue with the government after which they will issue directions to their members.

Orengo also said they have issued Jubilee administration with a notice for dialogue, which will elapse on June 5, 2016 after which they will resume their Monday demonstrations.

Jubilee administration has, however, told the opposition to respect the constitution and allow Isaack Hassan and his team deliver their mandate. Led by President Kenyatta, the ruling coalition has told Raila off over his calls to disband IEBC, saying he is the one who put them in the office.
