A jihadist leader who organized the April 2015 attack on Garissa University in eastern Kenya which left 148 people dead, has been killed in a raid in southwestern Somalia. Mohamed Mohamud Ali known as Dulyadin alongside 16 armed men were gunned down by Somali commandos on Wednesday, according to Somali authority.

Mohamed is the man who organized the deadly Garissa University attack one year ago that left 148 students dead and several others injured. The dangerous man had been hiding in Somali while organizing other attacks in the country.

The Somali forces cornered them in southwestern Somalia when the gang was about to launch an attack. It took the forces 3 hours to complete the mission and end the life of one of the most dangerous terrorists in East Africa.

Over the past 4 years, the Alshabaab group has conducted over 10 deadly attacks in several parts of Kenya, killing over 1,000 innocent civilians. The group also conducted a deadly attack on Kenyan soldiers in Somali early this year.
