Zimbabwe President, Robert Mugabe, is in Singapore for serious health checks.
The 92-year-old flew secretly on Air Zimbabwe passenger jumbo jet and went straight to undisclosed hospital where the Doctor is attending to him.
Mugabe’s plane was leaving Papua New Guinea but was re directed to Singapore after Mugabe’s doctor intervened.
Two weeks ago he stopped over in Singapore to undergo treatment, which is the reason why he took several days to arrive in Papua New Guinea after leaving Harare.
Sources from Harare say Mugabe is expected to frequent Singapore at least twice a month for regular health checkups. The source also adds that in the recent past, Mugabe has suffered frequent memory lapses due to old age, something that has kept the entire personnel worried as many believe he ought to retire.
Senior staff at State House have done everything to hide the fact that Mugabe is ailing. One source says:
“You can even confirm from previous speeches where Mugabe reads a speech meant for a different function”.
Despite his condition, one UK scientists believes Mugabe will not die after conducting research on his DNA.The scientist found no evidence of decay on the old man’s DNA, which is not the case for normal human beings.
