Deputy President William Ruto has revealed why Jirongo is constantly attacking him. According to Ruto, Jirongo used to be his master some years back but tables have turned, making the former Lugari Member of Parliament jealous.
At a church function on Sunday, Ruto said amid cheers from worshippers:
“Sikatai nilikuwa mtu yake ya mkono,lakini saa hii mimi ni mkubwa wake.Hii siasa ni kujipanga polepole,na jirongo hakujipanga.Sasa ananionea wivu”
Ruto even angered CORD supporters when he said:
“Unaona jamaa mwingine alisumbua Kibaki,akakosa kujipanga sasa yeye yuko msituni”
Jirongo, one of the members of YK92, had claimed that he is the man who made Ruto who he is after making sure he won a tender to print one million t-shirts for KANU.
The former Lugari MP also said Ruto was behind Jacob Juma’s death.
