Several MPs from Western Kenya, Kisii and Ukambani are set to Join Jubilee after realizing CORD will lose the next general election.
The MPs, estimated to be over 20, are holding secret talks with the Deputy President William Ruto and Uhuru’s representatives. Talks are at advanced stage and already Budalangi Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba has decided to signal Raila Odinga that he is out.
Ababu, who is ODM’s Secretary General, is set to launch his party in readiness for the exodus. It is believed the MPs who are set to join Jubilee are waiting for TNA and URP merger before they disappoint Raila.
Among those expected to show allegiance to the new Jubilee Coalition party include Alfred Mutua, Jakoyo Midiwo, Ababu Namwamba and a host of other legislatures from Ukambani and Western Kenya.
It is reported that Jubilee has promised the MPs a soft landing in case they lose the next general election.
