Former KDF Chief Julius Karangi has been appointed the new Kenya Airports authority (KAA) Chairman, replacing David Kimaiyo.
The new changes at KAA were communicated in a gazette notice on Friday which stated that it should take effect immediately.
Kimaiyo started working at KAA in 2014 after resigning from Kenya Police as the Inspector General. His fate is now sealed.
KAA is one of the most strategic government institutions in Kenya. It’s responsible for overseeing all the airports and airstrips in the country.
This is the same institution where current Government spokesman Eric Kiraithe was working after resigning as the Police spokesman.
