Nation Media Group (NMG) is expected to sack QTV and Nation FM employees in a restructuring process aimed at improving efficiency in the largest media house in East Africa.
“Regrettably this will result in a reduction of our workforce through job redundancies, we will strive to provide all the necessary support to help them manage through this transition”, read a statement from NMG
The employees have been supplied with retrenchment letter, which instructed them to clear with the institution.
It is believed that the stations have been a liability to NMG after losing all the advertisements to rival media houses like Classic FM and Citizen Radio.
