A total of 15 Kenyans applied for the position of Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya while the position of Deputy Chief Justice attracted 20 applicants.
Contrary to reports on social media that former Parliament Speaker Kenneth Marende had applied for the position of CJ, his name was missing in the list.
