Dennis Momanyi was shot dead by a gunman at Kapenguria police station during a rescue mission. His death occurred exactly one month after a colourful wedding in Kisii.
Dennis, who was a Recce Squad officer, received emergency call from his seniors to go and rescue police officer who were under siege. The 29-year-old alongside other officers took less than one hour to arrive at the station. Sadly, the gunman shot and killed the officer.
The family is mourning, not only Dennis’s death but also the fact that he left behind a beautiful wife, who was yet to settle in the family.
