News reaching us indicate that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission is expected to undergo reforms after its commissioners resigned on Wednesday August 3, 2016.
The commissioners, led by Chairman Isaack Hassan decided to down their tools after facing criticism both from opposition leaders and the government.
They are expected to officially announce their resignation at a press conference this week and later hand in resignation letters to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A new commission is expected to be constituted later this year.
