After witnessing 4 goals fly pas him, Petr Cech almost lost his life after getting involved in a grisly car accident.
The incident happened on Sunday, shortly after Arsenal was humiliated at Emirates by Jürgen Klopp’s men.
Petr Cech,who was in a hurry after the embarrassing evening, was absent minded while driving his expensive Audi A7.He smashed it into the pillar in the underground car park at the Emirates as he attempted to leave the stadium.
The £65,000 was not badly damaged, but Cech couldn’t hold tears afterwards.
The goalkeeper had earlier told Sky Sports:
“We had a great start to the game.
“We were organised and controlled the game.
“It was disappointing to miss the penalty but the reaction of the team was great because we broke through.
“In the second half, the momentum changed because of the free-kick.
“Liverpool came out with more ambition and were very aggressive.
“We were punished by the Lallana goal and once we fell behind we opened the game too quickly and allowed them three, four, five counter-attacks.”
It was indeed a disappointing day for the goalkeeper.
