After being thrashed by Liverpool in a thrilling match at Emirates, Arsenal have decided to seek the services of Riyad Mahrez in a transfer that is expected to cost the club £40m.
Already, Arsene Wenger has sent a request to Leicester City, but sources from the Premier League champion indicate that the player is valued at £45m, which Wenger is not keen to pay.
The 25-year-old, who scored 17 goals for Leicester last season, has also indicated he would be more than ready to join Arsenal.
During an interview on Sunday after the infamous game, Wenger confirmed he will go for two players, but he couldn’t exactly say which particular player he is eyeing.
