Giant telecom company, Safaricom, is expected to hire 600 customer care specialists.
The company, through its Chief Executive Officer, Bob Collymore, announced Friday that they will put the announcement on local dailies soonest next week.
The company is also expected to open another customer care center at its headquarter in Westlands, Nairobi.
Safaricom receives at least 400,000 calls daily, which require more than 1,000 customer care staff to handle the clients. That’s why the company is embarking on filling the gap between the customers and the company in regards to response time to calls.
But as a customer care staff, what are the qualifications and salaries? Well, the qualifications include a university degree and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Also, more importantly, the ability to work under pressure.
When it comes to salaries, the basic salary of a fresh graduate customer care executive at Safaricom is Ksh35,000.
