What Can You Tell This Jobless Graduate?”Why I should not Elect Uhuru and Ruto Again”

Dear Venas News, I would like to share this.

I completed my undergraduate education from Moi University in 3013. I in fact scored upper second division and got excited.

In 2013 I woke up at 3 am to elect President Uhuru Kenyatta, and he indeed won that election. I was so excited when Mutunga’s led court declared him president after rejecting Raila’s petition.

During that election, I had stayed at home for 3 months and I thought Uhuru could save me from the agony of being jobless.

Immediately he was sworn in, I landed in Nairobi with full of joy and excitement. I was so sure that jobs would be plenty as Ruto once said, that where it’s written “no employment”, the writings would be replaced with “employment opportunities”.

Living in a dilapidated apartment in Kayole, I thought three months were the most for me to live at the estate before I relocate to a more posh estate after landing a well-paying job.

In June 2013,I heard Deputy President William Ruto state that they would freeze employment, and he kept his promise.

I have been jobless since then, walking from one office to the other in search of opportunities but in vain. I am now jobless and desperate.

Now as a graduate, I would like to ask you to give me a reason why I should elect Uhuru and Ruto again?
