As you complain of dry pockets, some Kenyans are eating life with big spoons. Kevin Mulei, the man behind Groove Awards, has imported a brand new BMW i8,a rare machine in Kenya.

A brand new BMW i8 costs not less than Ksh 14 million, that’s what Kevin paid for the car, and as he flaunted it along Westlands Nairobi, you could see the message “kula na macho” registered on his face

The ‘Bima’ is one of the most popular plug-in hybrid sports cars, which means it can be recharged by plugging it into an external source of electric power.

The maximum driving range on a full fuel tank and full charge is around 500km.

The BMW i8 can go from 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h.

A new i8 will cost you from as little as Sh 14 Million, excluding importation costs.

For you to own such a car, you must be prepared to spend at least Ksh5,000 per day on fuel and also Ksh 200,000 per month for service.
