Mahendra Ahirwar will now enjoy life to the fullest after he underwent successful surgery. The 13-year-old had the worst experience since he was born with his head permanently hanging upside down at 180-degree angle.
The boy was born with a rare condition that caused his neck muscles to be so weak that his head hung to one side. This condition could not enable him perform any task, he always sought assistance whenever he wanted to eat, bath, move and do any other task.
A successful surgery was conducted in India where the boy’s neck muscles were correctes.Mahendra will now perform all tasks, thanks to Julie Jones who ran a successful campaign that raised $15,000.
