A man in Fresno, California was jailed to 1,503 years in prison for raping his teenage daughter over a four-year period.
The 41-year-old was sentenced on Friday -amid tears-to the longest-known prison sentence in Fresno Superior Court history.
In announcing the punishment, Judge Edward Sarkisian Jr. told the man he is a “serious danger to society” and noted that he had never shown remorse and has blamed his daughter for his predicament.
The man however defended himself, arguing that the daughter tempted him and that his initial intention was to protect her, but he fell into Satan’s trap.
While subjecting the man to 1,500 years in prison, the judge described the man as a beast whose only intention was to turn his daughter into “a piece of property,”
The man is said to have abused the girl from May 2009 to May 2013, when the girl got the courage to leave him.
The bold girl reported the matter to the authority, prompting the police to come for the heartless man.
While narrating how the father abused her, the 23-year-old told the court that he used to do the sin thrice a week-sometimes up to 5 times.
The man, who is expected to meet his death in jail, has apologized to his daughter and whoever felt offended by his actions.
