God almost fell from the sky after witnessing Mr Lukas Ngugi Njoroge dipping his hand into offering basket.Mr Njuguna was released on October 20, 2016 by President Uhuru Kenyatta and could not waste a chance.
Njuguna dressed for the church on Sunday and sat next to the back door. Everyone in the church was sure he had reformed, so they didn’t care about the safety of their hard earned cash.
As the basket was passing around, full of money, the prisoner inserted his right hand into the basket and forced several notes out, leaving some coins. He then tried to escape, but worshippers caught him before he took to the heels.
In total, Njuguna, almost stole Ksh900, 000.He will now return to jail.
