Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago declared yesterday that the Kikuyu community owes Ruto more than votes, and they MUST vote for him in 2022.But the comment has been watered down by several members of the Kikuyu community, who swear in the name of God that they won’t vote for Ruto come 2022.Here is what they said.

Jane Kogi

“In 2013 a large percentage of kikuyu community voted for their own Uhuru Kenyatta, kalenjin community voted for their own William Ruto and that’s why one is the President and the other one is the Deputy President, so no one owes tge other here, Kila mtu alivotia mtu wao kesi kwisha….come 2022 i won’t vote for DP Ruto because I owe him anything but because I believe in His leadership”

Roman Simon Maina

“The only voter who owes William Ruto and Mandago is only Uhuru Kenyatta.
I cant remember any time Nyumba ya Mumbi signing such an agreement even Kalonzo knows”

Wahome Thuku

“The many Kikuyu’s in Central Kenya and elsewhere who voted for Raila Odinga, PK, Karua, Mwite, Mudavadi, Dida…..which hand are they to return?

SPEAKING for myself. If anyone (anyone) is intending to vote for Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 with the hope, belief, assumption and purported arrangement that 2022 Thuku will “return a hand”, just remember I won’t. So you can decided now to either vote for UK or anyone else but in both decisions expect nothing in return from me, whether now or ever. Decision is all yours”
