The death of former Capital FM presenter Grace Makosewe shocked the entire nation, but according to close friends and colleagues, the deceased was a party animal and she may have died of alcohol and sheesha related complications.
Grace was a former Capital FM employee, who was initially hardworking before she was introduced to alcohol. The deceased, according to one of her close friends, was sacked from the station after she failed to meet deadlines, she was also reporting to work late, prompting the management to show her the door.
After being retrenched, she joined a Kisumu based media house, Urban Radio, but her stay at the station was short-lived….she was sacked.
Until her death, she was working for HomeBoyz as the Digital Communications and Events Manager.
Even after being offered a job at the company, Grace never stopped “taking the bottle”, she drank herself silly. Shockingly, despite earning six figure salary, she was living with her parents in an apartment at Ngumo Estate.All these troubles emerged due to alcohol and Sheesha.
Her death was caused by breathing problems, which had persisted for weeks.
