Former Rarieda Member of Parliament, Raphael Tuju, has been selected to head the Jubilee Party team that will work round the clock to ensure Jubilee re-election dream is realized. As Tuju receives the good news, his estranged wife, Ruth Akinyi, is seriously suffering along Mombasa Road.
Ruth Akinyi opened a small hotel along Mombasa Road, which is frequented by a couple of loyal friends and strangers on transit.Akinyi sells beans,fish,ugali,sukuma wiki,njahe,mutura,githeri and ugali mlima,which is a menu for the poor. In a good day, she makes at most Ksh2,000.
In 2013, Tuju found his wife cheating with Tony Ogunda, and decided to end his 27-year marriage. The former journalist moved on as if nothing had happened. Days later, Tony Ogunda would be found dead in his home, resulting to Ruth Akinyi leaving her matrimonial home for a less luxurious life along Mombasa Road.
It is now approximately 3 years since Tuju parted ways with Akinyi,the two have never seen eye to eye ever since but their children are all living with Raphael Tuju.
