Vladimir Putin,Russia’s President, has congratulated US President Elect Donald Trump over his victory.
Putin, who is reportedly Trump’s close ally, sent the warm congratulatory message to someone he holds so dear after news spread that he will be comfortable with America for the next four years following Hillary Clinton’s loss.
As the message trickled in, Trump was able to spot Putin’s message, which read:
“Congratulations for your victory. I hope we shall work together to make the world a better place to live in”. Americans have spoken…and they have spoken loudly. Congratulations once again”.
Putin is expected to attend Trump’s swearing in ceremony slated for January 2017.
