Pamela Ramsey Taylor has been sacked by West Virginia nonprofit agency Clay County Development after she posted a racist remark on her Facebook account directed at Michelle Obama.
Pamela posted on her Facebook account, immediately after Trump was confirmed winner of the US presidential elections:
“It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified first lady in the White House, I’m tired of seeing an ape in heels.”
After the post went viral, the Director was more than excited, she then added this remarks… again:
“Just made my day, Pam.”
Start of this week, she was sent on compulsory leave. While on leave, Taylor apologized, but reluctantly. Her apology stated:
“my remarks were not intended to be racist at all.”
“I was referring to my day being made for change in the White House!” she wrote to the Washington Post. “I am truly sorry for any hard feeling this may have caused! Those who know me know that I’m not of any way racist!”
She apologized for her comments “getting out of hand.”
Since the damage had already been done, the Director lost her job and subsequently her Facebook account, which was deleted permanently.
A sincere apology was then written by her former employer.
