Money is not a problem for Emeka Offor, who is a billionaire by right. The Nigerian buried his father in Ksh10 million coffin, which is made of pure gold.
Chief Beneth O. Offor (Nnakaibeya) surrendered to his Father at the age of 88.Until his death, Beneth was a celebrated businessman who inspired both the young and the rich. His son, Emeka Offor, became a household name in his village due to his father’s financial muscle.
Emeka resolved to have his father buried as a hero, in one of the most expensive coffins in Nigeria. Due to this funeral, described as one of its kind, the whole village trooped to witness how pure gold looked like. Even the former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Dr Willie Obiano ably represented by his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke (ugogbuzue); the Governor of Imo state, Owelle Rochas Okorocha attended the rare event.
