Gladys Kamande is a Kenyan middle aged woman who desperately needs your financial help. Gladys is currently using oxygen machine to breath, something that has left her in constant pain even when others are merry making.
Her case is so serious that even a street kid cried uncontrollably while reaching out to her for help. The street kid, who occasionally sleeps hungry, had seen a car pull towards his side. The occupant was calmly sitted inside the car do and as the kid went for help, he noticed the mama wearing something around her neck while holding a small tank, which happened to be an oxygen tank.
The street kid wanted to know the work of that tank which had a pipe that linked it with Glady’s body. Gladys explained that she is a live because of that tank. At that moment, the kid stopped begging and broke down to tears.

Gladys had had so many miscarriages. And the man she could call her soul mate, the person who she could lean on for moral support walked out of her life- her husband.
GLADY KAMANDE has braved the surgical knife for 12 times. Yes, she’s been to theatre for 12 times. On one occasion the doctors forgot a surgical tool inside her womb, and they had to redo the operation.
With multiple surgeries, something grave was likely to happen. And it did. One of the surgeries ruptured her optical nerve. She went BLIND.
She later suffered from Recurrent Thromboembolism that resulted in her LUNGS COLLAPSING. Her body could no longer support her respiratory mechanism.
Gladys also has a neck brace and she explains why it is wrapped around her neck “Siku moja tukitoka hospitali nilianguka hapa nje. Nikazirai lakini nikapata fahamu baadaye. Niliumia mgongo na shingo. Sasa nimewekwa hii brace kwa shingo na pia mgongo nimefungwa”.
Her legs looks of different colors. Some areas are dark, others white and others chocolate brown. The condition is caused by either poor oxygen supply or adverse effects of long term use of the many drugs she’s been on to.
Gladys is urgently in need of over Ksh 10 million for multiple surgeries,already Kenyans have raised Ksh2 million through Ndungu Nyoro.
