A total of 11 GSU Officers died in the grisly road accident that occurred at Karai,Naivasha.Names of the officers who perished in the accident are as follows.

- Joseph Ouko of No.76039 PC/BUG.
The officers were travelling in their official truck when they were caught unaware by the huge fire that originated from the tanker which was carrying fuel. Most of the officers were burnt beyond recognition.
