Uhuru’s boat is sinking, in fact faster than earlier predicted. But the President has time and resources to attract the fortunes to his side. There are over 10 things Uhuru should do so as to beat the ever ambition opposition leader Raila Odinga..we shall discuss them below.
First and foremost, as a Jubilee supporter you have to be extremely worried because Raila is planning to use his last bullet wisely. The man from Bondo is reorganizing his soldiers for the war, and for your information, he holds several meeting with his partners on daily basis and has even reached out to some Jubilee legislature. Due to run away corruption and embezzlement of public resources, Jubilee is very much exposed…Uhuru is naked.
In order to beat Raila in 2017,Uhuru should do this:
- Sack all the 36 Jubilee bloggers and reach out for new bloggers, including CORD bloggers
It seems the 36 Jubilee bloggers who were employed by Jubilee administration have failed to deliver. Today, all you see is a CORD dominated social media, be it Twitter, Facebook or Google. Jubilee bloggers have eaten enough and forgotten what they were intended to do. CORD bloggers have taken over the social media and suffocated us with genuine information and as usual, propaganda.
What Uhuru should know is that most of the CORD bloggers are broke, but they do blogging out of passion. By employing them, he will be assured of 100% results.
Jubilee bloggers are more interested in “eating” and not helping the king. Crack the whip Mr President else you find yourself in Gatundu next year.
- Arrest and Jail some two or three corrupt government officials
If Raila is clever enough, he should only stick to the issue of corruption by instilling hope into the public. Currently, Kenyans have lost hope in the Jubilee administration, even Uhuru’s closest allies know something is not auguring well for the king, but they fear telling him the truth.
It is reported. Even the intelligence has indicated so…that in Central Kenya, voter turnout will not exceed 85 %, which is worrying. You should be aware that in 2013, when Uhuru’s people had full-basket of hope, the voter turnout in Mount Kenya region exceeded 85 %.If the turn out goes below 80 % in Central Kenya, Raila will beat Uhuru by saa mbili asubuhi.
The only thing that will rejuvenate the people of Central Kenya is by doing some PR;Uhuru should simply jail some few individuals, even Cabinet Secretaries and Senior Government officials.Alternatively,he should do to some what he did to Moses Kuria,Muthama and other hate mongers. Then sack some senior government officials and threaten them, just for PR, after all is term is almost ending.
- Change political strategy
The third and most important thing is to change the political strategy. He should know the ICC card which he used in 2013 will not help him this time, he should look for something else, and that something else is promise for jobs, ending corruption and tribalism. This should be demonstrated by actions.
At this time, people are not so interested in launching of roads and connecting electricity to them. They need something that can directly impact their pockets, and that thing is employment. The main challenges youths face in Kenya is lack of jobs, other things are just secondary.
- Concentrate on Rift Valley
This one is very important. Without the entire Rift Valley voting for Uhuru, the president would easily lose to Raila. The first thing the president should do is advise his deputy,Ruto,to stop using insults against his political opponents from his backyard, instead reach out to them.
If Isaac Rutto and Gideon Moi manages to join NASA and stick to the coalition, Uhuru will for sure lose over 400,000 Rift Valley votes to Raila, and that would be a blow to his contest.
The bitter truth the president should know is that no matter what he does to the people of Western, Kisii and Ukambani,he won’t change their mind.
- Avoid chest thumping
What is more worrying is that Uhuru and his supporters have already won the 2017 elections. From experience, we know that too much pride, arrogancy and overconfidence can disappoint a human being.
Uhuru should use the same energy he used in 2013 to campaign for his re-election. He should be warned that this time Raila is prepared to defeat him.
