CORD leader and aspiring presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has received invitation to US President Elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration Ceremony.
The former Prime Minister received the letter signed by Trump and which read in parts:
“I am pleased to invite you to my inauguration ceremony which will be held on January 20, 2016 in Washington DC”.
The Prime Minister is currently In Accra, Ghana at the inauguration of President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo and is expected to leave the country to USA where he will be hosted by Trump.
It is reported that Raila was the first Kenyan to receive the prestigious invitation card.
Donald Trump has previously described Raila as the only Kenyan who understands democracy. He also believes Raila Presidency would bring change that Kenyans have been yearning for.
