Jubilee Party has revealed its line-up for Nairobi County, and as expected Peter Kenneth will vie as the governor of Nairobi County and deputized by Johnson Sakaja.
A highly placed source within Jubilee reveals to us Mike Sonko shelved his ambition to go for Governor Seat and instead opted to retain his current seat, Nairobi Senator. This was after the Senator was sweet talked by President Kenyatta and Mount Kenya elites to leave the seat to a person they believe would succeed Uhuru in 2022.
The position of Women Representative was given to Millicent Omanga, who is believed to be more suitable to represent the city than the incumbent, Rachel Shebesh, who is currently under doctor’s watch. The Jubilee administration believes that Omanga will bring some Kisii votes to Jubilee.
The entry of Peter Kenneth is meant to ensure he becomes the president in 2022 and would be deputized by Baringo Senator,Gideon Moi.As we speak, former President Moi has advised his son to leave NASA and start campaigning for President Kenyatta,in preparation for his reserved seat.Meanwhile,Deputy President, William Ruto is not in the equation.
