Kameme FM,Uhuru owned station,has warned the Kikuyu against letting other tribes take power.They command their people to register or face consequences,adding that the Kingdom must be protected.
The following advert is running on the station:
“Andu a nyumba itu,mwarekereria uthamaki uthii mwiroreire o ma o ma,mwareka ruriri rutunyukithio uthamaki ni nduriri? Ni muui andu aya ni matwihitiire? Ta mwiyandithiei kwa uingi ndamuthaitha tucokie Uhuru tuthare uthamaki na tugitire ruriri”
Translation: ( Family,why should you let go of this kingdom? Why should you let this kingdom be taken over by other tribes really? Are you aware that we’ve been threatened by these people? Let’s kindly save the kingdom by registering in large numbers and re-elect Uhuru so that our community would be protected )
