Deputy President William Ruto had nowhere to hide his face when a hostile crowd heckled him out of the podium in Narok.The DP was in the town, which is dominated by the Maasai tribe, to urge residents to register in numbers so as to send Raila to Bondo,but his mission hit a snag when residents told him:
“Since we elected you, you have eaten meat alone in Nairobi and we have been suffering and eating grass. Now you are here demanding the community to vote for you…we have no time for Jubilee”.
Fire was started by Narok Deputy Governor Evalyn Aruasa, who started telling juicy stories about Jubilee, but his speech was cut short by hungry and angry residents who told him off.
“When you are eating, you are eating alone but when you are desperate you come to beg us “, residents were overheard complaining as they raised their ceremonial rungu to demand he leave the podium.
A dejected Ruto left Narok while throwing hands on the air.
