Evans Kidero, who is the governor of Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, is the richest governor in Kenya. The ODM politician has had a successful career, having served as the CEO of Mumias, NMG and Manager at GSK Kenya, the governor’s wealth is estimated at between Ksh15 billion-Ksh22 billion.
Kidero was at one time overheard saying he can single handedly finance Raila’s campaign to the tune of Ksh10 billion.
The second position is taken by Governor William Kabogo, who has interest in real estate, hospitality, agriculture and transport industry.Kabogo is so rich that he can influence who becomes the Kikuyu kingpin.
Ali Hassan Joho,the Mombasa Governor, comes third with estimated wealthy in excess of Ksh7 billion.Joho is loaded that no amount of money can make him change his allegiance to Raila Odinga.
Mr Joho owns several apartments in Mombasa, shipping and logistics companies and hotels.
