This Saturday,dusty,ululation and jubilation will be witnessed in Bomet Stadium as Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto will ditch Jubilee to join NASA.But as the excitement continues to be witnessed in Nyanza,Coast,Western and other CORD stronghold, it has emerged that the country will spend a whooping Ksh30 million on the rally.
A meeting which was held in Bomet last week came with the following resolution
3) How to raise funds to facilitate NASA rally on Saturday, it was agreed that , 1.3 M will be used to mobilize people, which include ferrying them from as far as Turkana, West pokot, Siaya, Vihiga, Kisumu, Narok and Nairobi.. Further , men in black and more hooligans will be employed on that day to protect baba and chase away moles..they will be meeting later today to review , the money will be wired tomorrow to various coordinators to book buses and pay the people to be ferried.
A further 2M will be used to prepare the dilapidated stadium,
A further 2 M will be used to hire public address system and decorations
A further 2M Will be used for refreshments and lunch for the dignitaries
A further 3 M will be used for brandingm getting mashinani paraphernalia ( caps, T-shirt, lessos, pantana, etc)
A further 1M to prepare the ground.
A further 10 M will be for the normal contribution to Raila
A further 5 M set aside for a whole day media coverage , KTN and Citizen TVs
A total of 30 M has been set aside for Saturday
