Radio Africa To Sack Over 50 Employees

Radio Africa, which owns Classic FM, Kiss FM, Star Newspaper, Mpasho,Gukena FM and a host of radio stations is expected to sack over 50 employees.

We are informed that the station has already finalized on the list of employees to be sent packing, which include popular names in Classic and Kissi FM.Among those expected to be sacked include Nick Odhiambo and several other employees at Kiss FM.

The media house is also expected to close some stations in a bid to cut costs and also streamline operations.

Radio Africa CEO, Patrick Quarcoo, recently said the media house will do major restructuring and would focus its energy on online marketing, implying that they would come up with more blogs, online radio and TV, which is the trend worldwide.
